Lab short path distillation kit

Short-path distillation is a distillation technique where the distillate travels a short distance. It separates the mixtures based on differences in their volatility in a boiling liquid mixture under reduced pressure. As the sample mixture is heated, its vapors rise a short distance into a vertical condenser where they are cooled by water. The use of a vacuum ensures that the atmospheric pressure within your system is removed, making it easier to distill denser molecules in a shorter amount of time.
